Robert E. Raleigh, Ph.D.: Managing Partner | Linked In

Bob brings a varied background to the PathSight team that encapsulates the disciplines of psychology, technology and over twenty years of leadership in the media and entertainment marketplace.  Most recently he was CEO of Rockefeller Consulting/Insight Capitalists, a strategic management-consulting firm that works to align companies across all critical stakeholder constituents from customers to leaders.

Prior to that Bob was President of Carsey-Werner Television Distribution overseeing the marketing, distribution and sales of a library that consists of The Cosby Show, Roseanne, Third Rock From the Sun and That 70’s Show.  His tenure in entertainment followed previous work with the Sperry Corporation in the field of Artificial Intelligence which was a logical extension of his earlier work as a psychologist.  Bob was professionally trained, having earned his Ph.D. from Syracuse University which was preceded by an undergraduate degree from Hobart College.

Markus Deutsch,  Co-Founder: Director

Mr. Deutsch is Principal of Landmark Global Associates LLC  which is the asset manager of the RTT Group of Companies. The Group is active in private equity via passive investments in property and a variety of operating businesses.  It also owns or manages approximately 2000 hotel rooms and apartments and in 10 locations which it actively manages via the in-house hotel management company, Excel Hotels and Resorts.  Mr. Deutsch was President and CEO of the Vacation Rental Group (VRG) a $1.2 billion gross revenue company with over 1.4 Million bookings per annum which he built from a concept he developed in 1997. VRG, is a micro-branded e-commerce & real estate business now part of Wyndham Worldwide (WYN), servicing 45,000 real estate investors, over 80,000 properties in 22 countries.  Notably the VRG group (now called Wyndham Vacation Rentals) includes the Holiday Cottages Group, Welcome Holidays,Cottages4you, Landal GreenParks, Novasol, Cuendet, Blakes Cottages.

Before VRG he was Managing Director of Cendant’s travel membership business and hotel franchising business in Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia. Mr. Deutsch led acquisitions of 14 companies in the lodge/Villa/cottage industry during his tenure and his team constructed / renovated / placed over 2000 cottages and lodges in the United Kingdom / Holland and Switzerland . Previously Mr. Deutsch was an interim CEO managing a divestiture for a Sony/Polygram joint venture as well as a partner in a firm which owned an investment in a venture leasing firm. He started his professional career with several positions at Citibank.

Mr. Deutsch received his bachelor’s degree with honors in Economics from Hamilton College and an Masters of Business Administration from New York University. He is a member of the Institute of Directors in London, an advisor to the NYU Center of Entrepreneurship, and serves as a board member at Insight Capitalists LLC and several other companies.

Greg Buttle,  Co-Founder:  Director

Greg is often most recognized from his accomplishments during his stellar All-Pro football career with the NY Jets.  His many honors began by being selected for the NFL All Rookie Team, include being chosen as the Miller Lite NFL Man of the Year, and concluded with his induction into the NY Jets All-Time Football Team.  Prior to his time with Jets Gregg distinguished himself at Penn State University, playing for the legendary coach Joe Paterno and earning All American honors.  He was further honored with the 1975 Silver Anniversary “Butkus Award” for the most outstanding linebacker in the country for the 1975 college football season.

Since his playing days Gregg has maintained his ties to the game with a robust accumulation of television and radio credits including hosting the current NY Jets pre and post game radio show.  Greg has also become a very successful entrepreneur and businessman across a variety of sectors displaying great vision, discipline and persistence. He has created serial successes in the event and promotions, fitness, catering and entertainment verticals.  Gregg has brought this broad knowledge of business to bear upon the evolution of the PathSight go to market strategy and has contributed greatly to its current success.

Deb Olsen, COO

Deb  is a senior executive with more than 25 years of experience across strategic planning, advertising, media, digital and integrated marketing disciplines. She believes that the smartest business-driving solutions result from insights, innovation and clarity around a brand’s audience.  Since her college days at Dartmouth, when Deb majored in Behavioral Neurosciences, she has been both fascinated by and passionate about how the brain’s biology drives human decisions and behaviors.

With PathSight, Deb works hand-in-hand with clients to help them understand how to interpret the data via-a-via distinct clusters, rethink how the model’s insights can support solutions to business challenges, and craft engagement strategies for go-to-market efforts which will drive increased effectiveness and revenue. She interfaces with businesses to operationalize the PathSight model’s findings.

Throughout her career, Olsen has worked with best-in-class companies including Coca-Cola, AT&T, American Express, monster.com, Live Nation, Proctor & Gamble, AOL and many others. She has a deep understanding of what it takes to deliver a program from concept to in-market and excels in bringing new thinking and a smarter approach to clients, driving success in the marketplace.

She began at Young & Rubicam advertising, where she was the youngest VP in the company’s history, and progressed to SVP marketing communications at DVC, event marketing at CMI, media, entertainment and branding at Clear Channel, CBS, acting CEO for Spark.com, and Director with the Rockefeller Group … with a stint along the way as head Campaign Manager in NJ’s 2009 gubernatorial race. And she has found her home at PathSight, where the culmination of her expertise and interests have come together with a truly breakthrough model.

Basient Technology
Basient Technology is leading the integration of the components of the PathSight model into a powerful and efficient technological platform.  This process includes integrating  data analytics tools with the social science so as to be able to construct unique engagements and communication architectures that provide the high degree of positive impact that PathSight promises.

The Basient team has spent the past twenty years defining and developing complex software for use in the design of consumer electronics, computers, game platforms and automotive electronics.  Most recently they were principals at Cadence Design Systems, a leader in electronic design automation.  Basient has delivered software and service solutions to such market leaders as Panasonic, Phillips, ATI/AMD, Toshiba, IBM, and Samsung and has lead teams that specialized in complex database construction, multi-dimensional optimization and physics based modeling in Silicon Valley, India, France, Russia and Asia.
